Bride's Party

Anna Hall

Maid of Honor

Anna and I met in the fall of 2006 when we were both freshman at FSU. We became fast friends when we were placed in the same string quartet and discovered that we were neighbors in our dorm. Since then, we've been best friends and although we don't live in the same town, we visit each other as often as possible and remain close. I'm so excited that we're experiencing this event in my life together!

Bridesmaid

Sarah and I have known each other since my family moved to Lakeland when I was four years old. Our families have been friends ever since and Sarah and I spent many years hanging out together at Florida Southern events. We became really close on college when we were both freshman at FSU. It seemed like I was always going over to Sarah's dorm and going on Circle K runs at 2 am! I am so glad to have my friend with me during this special time.

Bridesmaid

Tina is Ben's sister in law (married to his brother Andy) and is going to be my sister too! We met soon after Ben and I started dating and I immediately felt welcomed into their family. I have loved getting to know her over the last two years and I am so excited I am going to have her as a sister!

Bridesmaid

Lindsey (Ben's sister) and I actually met during my freshman year at FSU, before I even met Ben. We were both violinist music majors and were in the same orchestra. When we re-met a year later, it was a great surprise! I've loved getting to know Lindsey and I'm really happy to have her as a part of the wedding and as my future sister!

Best Man

Nick and I met when I transferred to Pine View School in 7th grade. At Pine View, everyone knew each other from elementary school, and I was the awkward new kid. Nick, in his infinite wisdom, befriended me that year, and we've been like brothers ever since. When it came to choosing a best man, I didn't have to think twice. Besides, his lawyering skills might have me in a iron-clad oral contract – which he assures me is binding and absolute.

Groomsman

When I look back on the great, life-changing things that have happened to me since I moved back to Tallahassee, I think of two things: meeting Maggie, and having a chance to get close with my brother. I've always been proud of him, like a good older brother should be, but I never had enough time to spend with him when we were younger. Now that we're both adults, I can see how he's turned into such a great person, and we're both old enough that I don't need to wear the older brother hat as often and we can just enjoy each other's company. I need him standing by my side on my wedding day.

Groomsman

Shawn is one of my oldest and closest friends. We bonded in our early high school years over a shared interest in music, and then there was the inevitable forming of a metal/grunge band, tons of in-jokes that nobody else will ever find as funny as we do, and perhaps too much over-analysis of Rush and Dream Theater. I consider him a brother, and I'm honored to have him as one of my groomsmen.

Groomsman

Josh is actually my oldest friend, which is a claim to fame made more interesting by the fact that I didn't actually meet him until I was in college. Thanks to the technology and the blinking light machines, he and I "met" on America Online in the mid-90s. He and I were programming the same HyperCard application and he suggested that we join forces rather than compete. From that inauspicious beginning, a friendship grew. His friendship means a lot to me, and having him be a groomsman was important to me.
